Dell customizes all drivers from all makers to work on the laptop board. Make sure any driver you install is from Dell, not Realtek. I've completed all the tests there and no issue found. The ones I find just advices to check application permissions, device settings etc. My issue is about audio input internal microphone and I hardly find similar issues on Google. In meantime, please contact Dell Care in the link below, hopefully they will be able to solve the problem real soon. Hopefully Dell and Microsoft can work together and come with a solution to the no input problem. I also see a lot posts on the Microsoft website. It appears a lot of people are experiencing and posting here on this forum 'No input devices found" problems. I didn't need to install the previous version this time. Yesterday Windows update installed the latest version of Realtek Audio Driver v6.
Dell support engineer suggested to install the previous version of the Realtek Audio driver, I did it and both sound and microphone works now! View solution in original post. I reset my PC to factory settings, installed OS and everything from scratch, microphone was working, installed all the windows updates and again I see no input device.
